A house on the water

The main building is considered as an elevated cubic box so that creating several ponds beneath the building is possible. This creates purification of open space and sense of suspension and lightness of the building. Besides due to location of site near seashore, elevating creates a better perspective. The villa is divided into two parts of public and private. First floor consists of public spaces including living room, bar, kitchen and dining room, and bedrooms and private living room are created in the upper floor. Master bedroom, a complete private space, is created as a separate area in the second floor. In order to create volumes’ suspension, metal truss structure has been proposed and its details will be described in designing process.
